In the case of a forged signature or handwriting:
The original document in dispute.
If the court cannot obtain it, I can examine it at the court or analyze it using copies of handwriting comparisons.
For the handwriting comparisons, I need:
7-15 signatures for comparison
At least two texts from letters, postcards, forms, or applications from insurance companies, banks, etc.
For UV, IR, and microscopic examinations, I need:
Originals
Copies are sufficient for handwriting comparisons.
Important:
An expert opinion or handwriting analysis using copies is always to the client's disadvantage. I must mention this fact:
"Originals could not be provided to me. I need the originals to further elaborate and supplement the expert opinion."
